Have you ever spent time with someone that is dying? When I say dying, I mean, like within the last hour of their life? It's not pleasant, but not totally unpleasant either. It's like you and the person are floating above what is happening. It's tough to explain....
This last week my great uncle died. He had a massive heartattack on Monday and died on Wednesday. He went about 10-15 minutes of not breathing before the paramedics got there and that caused massive brain trauma. So we did all the tests and everything that is required. We pulled the plug on Wednesday morning about 9 am and he finally passed about 1:45 pm. It wasn't even him at that point anymore, but it was heartbreaking to see.
So the funeral was yesterday. My mom has a lot of health problems (for those that didnt know). So she was in the shower and almost just collapsed. We got her back in bed to lay down and see if the pain would go away. It was getting worse, so we called 911 and they came and got her. My dad and I had to go ahead to the funeral and my mom and brother went to the hospital. Turns out she had a pinched nerve. Scary, but we are glad that is all it was. So we had the funeral and it was really nice.
I need to figure out how to get some more money without going and getting a second job. My hours with my primary job are crazy, so I wouldnt feel comfortable taking a second job. Perhaps I could start selling off all my old games and stuff I dont use anymore. It's a thought. But do I want to get rid of all the old stuff? Maybe I'll think about it a litt more.
