Try as she might, Setsuna could still not shake the very unfortunate...discussion she'd had with Karal yesterday and she knew she couldn't go to Squall's class in a dispondant or upset mood or things would only get worse. So she sat underneath a tree, her eyes closed, her legs tucked underneath her, in an attempt to meditate over the situation and thus free her mind of the oppression of his ignorance. After all, she reminded herself, he couldn't possibly have understood the...depth of his words. It was unfortunate, though, and confusing, because he'd seemed so...understanding before. Non obtrusive. Intelligent.
Setsuna let out a deep breath before slowly drawing it back in again. It was his problem to overcome, not hers. It wasn't even so much the part about women that bothered her; she was accoustomed to criticism like that all the time.
It was the last part that got her. Because no matter how upset Karal's words made her, no matter how ignorant and archaic and close-minded they were up until that point and how he couldn't have possibly known...she knew she was unable to deny her own nature...
Her eyes closed tighter. Quietly, she began to chant under her breath:
