A second interview
I got a call from Exacto Springs asking me if I'd thought about the job and would I like to come in for a second interview. This is a hard decision for me. I'm comfortable where I am despite all the overtime but sometimes that and other things bug me and I wonder what else is out there. The Human resources lady who called me understand that I am single and changing jobs is a major decision and was very up front with me. She told me that I'd be starting out on 1st shift making $10 or if I wanted to work 2nd shift that I'd be making $10.50.....then if everything goes well, after 90 days I'd get a review and a .50 cent raise. If I worked 2nd shift I'd be making not much less then I make now BUT my understanding is that there's very little overtime At Exacto which would still put a dent in my take home pay.
