Alexandria Woman Killed In Abduction (2:26pm)

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) - Prince William County police say a woman has been abducted from a mall and killed in a car crash. Officials say 61-year-old Barbara Jean Bosworth of Alexandria was kidnapped Saturday afternoon from Springfield Mall by two men. The suspects forced her to use her ATM card at a Woodbridge convenience store.

Police say a witness saw Bosworth being escorted by the men in the store and suspected something was wrong. Another witness hugged Bosworth, pretending to know her, and whispered to her if she needed help. Bosworth said she did.

The witness called police, who later pursued the suspects in Bosworth's car. The driver lost control, crashing into some trees. Police say Bosworth was found dead in the car. A fake weapon was found at the scene. The suspects were taken to a local hospital and remain in critical condition.

IN FREAKIN' BROAD DAYLIGHT.
