(no subject)
On Sunday I called LE and found out that I'm starting next Thursday. I'm so excited! When I went to the store a couple of weeks ago to see Allison about rehiring me, all I could do was think about how I much I missed the store. And what's even better, the new store in Grafton is just about the same size as the one that was in the mall so it feels like home :) Sunday is my last day at Waldenbooks. I can't wait to get out of there. I've just had it with all the bullshit. I will miss most of the people that I've worked with. I've made a couple of really good friends working there so I at least gained something great from the whole experience.
Today is Oct. 4th, which means I get my MTEL results in ten days! I'm a little pissed about that because the deadline to sign up for the November test is Oct. 7th!!! This means I'll have to pay an extra $30 if I failed the test because I'll be registering late. I swear they're withholding the scores until the 14th just so they can make more money off the next test! NES is the worst testing company ever! I don't understand why the state uses a company that screws it's [the state's] law-obiding tax-paying citizens! I just pray that I passed so I don't have to spend $150 to take the test again!!! That would also jeopordize the timing of student teaching! I can't afford to take next semester off so I can come back to student teach. I may see if I can graduate in December and then go from there! But I would really like to student teach for the experience because I haven't actually been taught how to teach! I just hope everything works out!
Oh yeah...one more thing about the bookstore...I found out Sunday that EJ got a fifty cent, yes .50, raise when he got keys...and I got squat even though I was promised more money! So now I'm in a dilemma. Do I ask to get the money I've missed out on for the last month or not. Granted it's only like 35 or 40 dollars, but I still earned it! I don't know what to do...I'm leaning towards doing nothing about it because I just want to be rid of Waldenbooks once and for all...
