I got bread yesterday that was still warm when I bought it. A ciabatta loaf.
I had the forethought to get mozzarella to go with it.
I have been craving mac & cheese but last night I remembered that I have an avocado. So I made an avocado sandwich. Good, not awesome, but good.
This morning I went to make mac & c and saw the bread and thought hmmm... what else goes with this bread... aha! Tomato soup. I have that.
Now, it's even better if the bread is turned into grilled cheese, but ciabatta doesn't lend itself to that so I decided toasted cheese instead... And then it hit me:
fresh ciabatta (4 slices)
toasted
butter
garlic (3 cloves)
mozzarella
and tomato soup.
YES!
I then proceeded to make one of the best instances of garlic bread I have ever had. It was so good that it made the soup a mere side dish.
Mmm, garlic bliss.
