my family forced me to write a christmas list. i have no idea what i want for christmas, so it wasn't such a fun process. i know my mom's basically just getting me stuff for student teaching next semester, so i guess my list didn't have to be that long anyway. i basically just asked for a few books, some harry potter legos, 2 cds, and random other stupid stuff. perhaps next year will be the year that i ask for the new camera i've been wanting for years. however, the one i have, even though it's so old, is still in great condition, so i'm in no rush to replace it.
i saw harry potter and the chamber of secrets on friday night with greg, karen, and g-rat. i thought it was really good, although (obviously) i liked the book better. it was so funny to see harry, hermione, and ron looking so much older. although it was long, it went by very fast.

anyhoo, speaking of the lovely dave grohl, i finally got to see the $2 bill concert (or most of it) on mtv2 the other day. it was so much better to see it live, although it was cool on tv, too. i think it would be fun to see them again. you hear that foos? COME BACK SOON!
the thing dave grohl was on e! for was to talk about nirvana. i feel really bad for dave and krist novaselic for having had to talk about nirvana or kurt cobain in the majority of interviews they have done in the past 8 years. personally, i like the foo fighters more than i liked nirvana, and the two of them have made great careers for themselves after nirvana ended, so why do they have to keep talking about it? ::end rant on nirvana::
tonight we're having a pre-thanksgiving thanksgiving dinner. greg was very adament about it, so here we are. should be fun, but i think i have to do the abundance of the work. that's not really fair, is it? oh, well... since i do have to start doing that soon, i better get myself showered, dressed, and to the store.
late note: stupid live journal pics page isn't working, and i'm thoroughly mad. i wanted to cap off this nice entry with a pic of dave grohl. damn internet.
