UWG
I'm sitting here in one of the UWG buildings waiting on David... We're going to watch Guys and Dolls later at Kelly's... And I'm sitting across this guy who is listening to music on an Ipod... He's also reading a book... Now, it does not appear to be a text book considering it's a standard paperback size... and he's highlighting in it... I want to take it away and ask him what the hell he thinks he's doing marking in a book thus... Seriously, books are incredibly important to me...
When I was younger, the only way I could escape from reality that I so hated was to read... That's why I enjoy it so much I believe. It is an escape. It is an adventure... But those aside, I suppose I take after Hermione Granger when my views on books are reguarded... You don't bend pages. You don't write in them. You don't toss them aside. They are friends. They help you. They are important.
I dunno maybe I'm weird...
Those thoughts aside... I had a strange vision... I was just sitting here on the couch and I looked over and saw the railing... the top is flat, about the size of my palm... I had a flash of thought or something similar of me standing there balancing my computer on the railing... Then I saw the computer falling (as I know it would) and breaking as it hit the bottom. And it's a big break, where parts and pieces of plastic jump back into the air and scatter like ants after you smear their trail...
And now the rub: I have the strangest urge to balance the computer on the railing... I won't do it... but my god! You have no idea how much it's taking just to restrain myself at the moment... it's like I'm standing in front of a stand of free mangas written by Yuu Watase >.< It's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!
