A fun weekend
This past Sunday the Loyola students
who will be performing in the minimusicals
at Theatre Building Chicago did their
initial read-throughs for the creative
teams. I was astounded at how well they
performed our work. What a thrill it
was! We got very nice feedback from
the director and musical director, and
from the kids themselves. The only bad
news is that the running time of ours
was over 15 minutes! So we have to do
some cutting, which we've already set
about doing.
For those of you who might be interested
in attending an evening of these little
works, all seven of them will be shown
on May 1st and 2nd (Sunday and Monday)
at Theatre Building
Chicago on Belmont Street in Chicago,
and then on May 3rd (Tuesday) at Loyola
University. I'll get more info out well
in advance.
