What did everyone think of Obama's speech? I really liked it. The things he said weren't earth-shattering, but there's disturbingly few people running for president who would lay their opinions about race on the line like that. Plus, he's very articulate. That always helps. After Bush, I have a deep-seated suspicion of pithy, inarticulate people.
I want a Democratic nominee, and we won't have one until June. It sucks. Plus, the only way Hillary will be able to win at this point would be through superdelegates, which would totally alienate a lot of the people newly-energized by this election. I realized the other day that the thing I like best about her is her hair, now that they haven't had debates for awhile. She always did well at those.
