Some nonsense

Every time I hear the theme song from The Office, I get ridiculously excited. Seriously, it's like I'm 12 and I've just found out that we're going to King's Dominion tomorrow. It's just such a happy song, and when I hear it I know I will soon be watching disgruntled office workers getting shat upon by life. I'm such a Pavlov's dog sometimes.
The Firefly theme is the only other song that conjures up similar feelings for me. There though, the excitement of seeing Nathan Fillion dressed in breeches is a bit tempered by the fact that I start looking over my shoulder for a guy called TJ who says derogatory things about Mexicans and lets a recovering heroin addict sleep on our couch. I guess that's more about the personal issues that were going on at the time... Still, we got to watch that series on a 5 foot wide TV, so there were certainly upsides to that situation.

...Wait, what am I saying? There was an attention-deprived bassett hound, two underage parties that got broken up by the police, the "landlord" let some friend of his stay in our room when we were gone. Also the guy had two rifles and he used them to shoot old cars in Moreno Valley. Hot damn, am I glad to be out of that place, and it would only have been worth it had we gotten to keep the damn plasma screen TV.
