Ok so here's my real update that I promised you last week. It's been awhile since my last real update so I have quite a bit to write about. I did have my update all typed out and ready to go, but my computer decided to be a twat and freeze up and now i'm starting over. So since it's 5 am and I'm tired, you're going to get a slightly abridged version. I'm enjoying the classic Back to the Future Part 2 as I sit here and type this. This is probably my favorite one of the trilogy even though I know alot of people don't like this one. I would type some quotes from the movie, but I'm sure you all know the movie pretty well, but I do feel like making some reference to the movie - so here you go:
Ok enough rambling. Lets see, where shall I start this entry - It's been awhile, I can't remember the last thing I wrote about...
A couple weeks ago Ashley Ryan and I made a journey back up to Chicago to finish moving him into his apartment. Aside from a close call with a garbage truck in the back alley, the whole trip went pretty well. Some stranger even tried to make a joke to Ashley when she asked him to move his vehicle...but she wasn't laughing. After a stop for a meal at the Applebees in Joliet, we were ready to head back to the (Not so) wonderful world of Princeton.
Two weeks ago there was an Egon's/Nancies show at the Pub that I was very excited about going to, but unfortunately I did not make it - Boo!. I hit up the J with Gretchen, Ashley and Ryan and planned on staying for a little bit than going to the show. We were having such a good time that I lost track of what time it was and next thing I knew it was 2 am. So yea, leave your comments about what a sally I am for not going to the rock and/or roll show.
Last weekend Gretchen and I decided to hit up the J for another fun filled night. Although there was no guy in swim trunks to be made fun of and no bottles of ketchup thrown by Gretchen - it was still a good night. We DID however see Meatloaf soon after we arrived - or what appeared to look like him. Later on Miss Ashley joined us for the fun night and Brown even graced us with her presence later on in the evening. I always love going to the J - you never know what's going to happen or who you'll see...but you can be assured of a good time. I believe Ryan mentioned something about being in town this weekend and hitting up the J - that makes 3 weeks in a row...what a nerd I am!
SInce Ryan's up in Chicago, there was no repeat of last years going to The Bistro on Valentines Day. It's hard to believe another V Day has came and went. It seems like just last week Ryan and I hit up The Bistro on V Day with him talking in his Sesmond voice and making onlookers think we were a gay couple. Although there was no Bistro - it was still a good day however as I busted out my copy of My Bloody Valentine and fulfilled my yearly tradition of watching it.
This movie has been a classic to me since I was but a young lad. I remember watching it everytime it was on the Fox 32 station we used to get back in the day. I also used to rent it all the time and I finally got around to purchasing it on DVD around 3 years ago. Although I used to watch it several times year round, the last two years I've only watched it on V Day - so it's been kind of a nice treat when I do see it. Any of the 4M crews reading this - put it on your list of movies to watch.
Actually I think I like this entry better than the first one I had typed out. Or maybe I'm just saying that so you won't know how bad this is compared to the original I had written. Either way - it's time for bed.
Later!
