"You'll need some gloves. Do you own a pair of rubber gloves Mr. Nugent?"
"No, I lease with an option to buy!"
I was talking to Ryan a few minutes ago and he pretty much told me that I had to do a new journal, so here we go...
Monday brought yet another edition of the Princeton chapter of 4-M. Our group that night consisted of Ryan, Gretchen(complete in pink sweatpants) and myself. I brought two Lucio Fulci movies to pick from: The Beyond and City of the Living Dead.
We ended up watching The Beyond and it's what you can expect from any Fulci movie: boring, but lots of sweet sweet gore!!! Highlights included:
- Eyeballs being ripped out in very graphic detail
- Tarantulas ripping a guys face off
Speaking of...After the feature film, Ryan and I had a viewing of the classic 1955 spider film Tarantula. Yes, I know what you're thinking-It's not a true spider movie unless it has John Goodman in it playing an exterminator-haha but anyways...So like we do best, we were making jokes throughout the movie, such as the scientist forcing his student into oral sex and the scientist fucking a rabbit to death...yea, don't ask!!!
Today, I made another trip to the dentist to get more of my teeth worked on.
When the dentist asked if I'd like a magazine to read while I wait for the novocaine to set in, I saw this as the perfect time to use some Fletch-like wit...
"Mike Would you like a magazine to read while you wait?"
"Uhh, yes. Lets go with the new issue of 'Cigar Aficionado', or last months issue will do. Maybe 'Cat Fancy' too.
"Here ya go. Heres some car magazines you can look through."
Woo Hoo!
So for the next few minutes I get to look through and read about the chassis on the new Corvette's. Now if only I knew what that meant?!?!
Then after that I get the pleasure of sitting there and getting my teeth worked on for the next half hour or so while there was some nice grinding and skull shaking drilling going on. But alas, I had the soothing sounds of the instrumental music of acoustic guitar and some nice fretless bass playing throughout the building...YEAH!!!
Well I just informed Ryan that I was updating my journal. His response:
"Try to be funny for once, you stupid asshole!"
Indeed!
Today also brought the birthday of one Steve Joiner(my dad, in case you didn't know!) The best part being we went out to Pizza Hut for supper to hit up some buffet action. Seeing as how there was hardly any cheese pizza(They didn't bring out any until later on and it was mostly gone by the time i had any - FUCKERS!!!) I had to make use of the breadsticks, pudding, lasagna and a plate full of diced eggs. Yes folks, I guarantee I was the only one who served himself up a nice plate of diced eggs from the salad bar...Mmmm.
Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for a late night viewing of
FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH
Later kids...
