I've been working heaps lately, trying to save up lots of money for moving out and for Malawi. I've pretty much decided I'm going to go. I haven't really done any major travelling by myself, and haven't been out of the country since the 2001 high school music tour to New Zealand. Plus, I think it'll be an incredible experience. I think the most attractive thing to me about it is the lack of distraction. There's so much noise in our society, and I feel like it's an impossible thing to escape, no matter how hard you try. But there, they have next to nothing, but still give more than we ever will. That's what I hope to experience - the potential of humanity.

I've also almost completely decided that I'm going to go back to uni next year (2nd semester) or the year after. I'm looking to go down either a business/accounting route or a computer systems engineering route. The prospect of studying again excites me, though. SAE was a cool experience, but it felt very dumbed down. I look forward to feeling challenged to think again. Thinking and intellectual conversation are my favourite things ever. And I have nowhere near enough of either in my life at the moment.

I'm looking forward to spending Christmas and Boxing Day with my family and cool friends down in Falcon. FOOD!!! BEACH!!! DRINK!!! I've also been thinking of some New Year's resolutions. I'll post my list soon, once I've finalised it.

Other cool things in my life: song-writing, digital fortress, kittens, smallest-christmas-tree-ever, nintendo!
