Darren Aronofsky wrote the script and it's a supernatural thriller. I thought why not? It can't be that bad. Well it's not... that bad.
It has Olivia Williams in it, who I really like. Zach Galifianakis is also in it, unfortunately, though fortunately his character has almost no lines and it's pretty obvious a lot of his character ended up on the cutting room floor, for one reason or another.
It has an interesting premise and I find claustrophobic movies to be genuinely creepy but it just seems like a huge cop-out. There isn't enough supernatural stuff, or character development and, well, not enough 'thrills' for a thriller. I expected a lot more. I also for some reason thought Aronofsky had directed this (which would have been strange indeed), he did not.
