I saw that you are a vetter for gpfg_studios.

fishbaum has suggested this might be something for GPFG. I'm not quite sure if it fits the scope, because this studio is decidedly not GPFG, but it could be a prequel that explains why John and Rodney appreciate what GPFG does so much.

Do you know if this fic would be something for GPFG? Should I contact a mod? Help?

Ooh, you should totally post this there! (Consider it vetted, you're good to go, just make sure you do the header as specified in the userinfo.)

There's no strict universe/timeline really, so if you just explain in the Author's notes that it's a prequel or whatever, that should be fine. Go for it!

I really overemphasized his bald spot, didn't I? I just keep thinking about it since Doppelganger. It's so cute. And yes, I just thought it would be the cutest thing, if Rodney had all his films and John never even watched one of his after taking a look at him on a cover.

As a matter of fact I do. I'm a member of the comm. I'm not sure if it fits the scope... Maybe as a sequel to explain why they prefer to work for GPFG? Will have to ask the mods.

GPFG says anything where John and Rodney are porn stars is perfectly acceptable. Just call this an AU to the AU and no one will even blink. (Except maybe as they explode from the overwhelming HOT.) You have to have had it beta'ed, and get it vetted by one of the people in the userinfo, but this was awesome and that shouldn't be much more than a formality. Also - THIS WAS HOT. That is all. :)

Oh my God! Ahem, I don't believe I got the inflection right. Let me try again. OH MY GOD!!!

I had a brain when I started reading this, but it has melted and dribbled out my ears. This was intense. And the fact that it got so intense after John's business-as-usual attitude in the beginning just made it better. I love that John wasn't a virgin, but he still had no idea how good sex could be. (Which is, along with the rescue, a very Harlequin kind of plot, but I'm all for stealing the Harlequin plots whenever they work.)

I love Harlequin. I just wasn't really aware this would be Harlequin. In my mind the plot was: John is an always-tops porn star until he gets so hot and bothered over Rodney's ass that he comes and Rodney shows him the pleasures of taking it up the ass. But then the director and crew somehow became "evil" and Rodney was that Knight in Shining Armor and... it surprised me a bit, not in a bad way, but still ;)
