Summary: For this prompt on the spn_otpkink meme: Though he was born a beta, knotting sex is something Dean tries his best to avoid. It's not that he doesn't like being knotted like every beta should. In fact he loves it a lot. But he just hates the after - being stuck with Sam for hours while waiting for Sam's knot deflating, letting Sam snuggle and nuzzle him as much as Sam feels like to, being so open and helpless that he feels like he's nearly transparent with all his walls down. It's just TOO MUCH. So after the first couple of times of having knotting sex with Sam, Dean simply declared that he hates being knotted and warned Sam that he'll castrate Sam if he dare put his huge knot in Dean's ass again.
But a man has needs. So Dean buys himself an inflating dildo and only uses it when the urge of being knotted too strong to resist.
