Bedtime, It’s Bedtime Now

“When you say to a child 'Bedtime, it's bedtime now.' that's not what the child hears. What the child hears is 'Go and lie down in the dark. For hours. And don't move. I'm locking the door now’.”

Pairing: Dean/Sam/Castiel

Not really a time-stamp…not really an extra scene. It’s in the ‘verse of ‘Animals’, where Dean and Castiel are Angels and Sam is a Demon, all creatures treated as pets and all three boys live with Azazel and Alistair, their Masters. I don’t think you’ll be confused, since this scene doesn’t actually happen in the story, but then again I don’t really know.

Though this in the ‘Animals’ ‘verse, there are references to the sequel (yet to be posted) called ‘Evolution’. Keep an eye out for that one.

There are references to MPreg (Dean) but no graphic details of the birth or pregnancy. The children in this fic are about seven months old as a human - the equivalent to three or four years physically for Angels - right before they start growing their wings.

My second attempt at schmoop, and I’m not sure it went very well. And it kind of got away from me here. :/ Sorry.

Written for the prompt ‘Kid!fic - Bedtime’. See my bingo card here.
