> 02: Kiss.The first time he kisses Vriska, it's awkward and hesitant and he almost misses and their glasses slide down their noses and clink together, and he can't stop babbling afterwards, but she kisses him again - on the cheek, this time - just to shut him up.
> 04: Pain.Getting stabbed hurts a lot, and it hurts even more the second time.
> 06: Rain.It starts raining, hard, when John and Charles are walking back and neither of them have an umbrella, so John throws his hands up and keeps a shield of wind above their heads that just blows the rain right away from them.
> 07: Chocolate.Karkat looks at the chocolate in disgust and snaps, "I don't want any," and John gives him a look of horror and hurt for exactly three seconds before he shoves it into the troll's open mouth.

> 22: Jealousy.Sometimes it really is a wonder how John doesn't notice the look Eridan gets when the boy curls up and plays video games with Charles all day and finds his comfort there, and even more so that he doesn't notice the way Vriska gets when he's too close to another girl.
> 27: Blood.It's all over his hands and his clothes, pooled around him when he opens his eyes, but then he focuses; he sees bodies around him, Dad and Rose and her mom, and he liked it a lot better when all he could see was the blood.
> 28: Sickness.When John comes down with a really bad case of the flu, Dad bakes him the most heartfelt and perfect cake yet, and even though he can barely manage to keep soup down, John eats a slice because he'd feel really bad if he didn't give it his best shot.
> 31: Home.At least it's only a little pang that he gets when he realises he can't go "home" from another world if he has no home left to go to.
