Update for me and my life:
I'm going to Belfast this weekend to see the town and keep Jess company whilst visiting her boyfriend and his friends. Thankfully the hostel accepts credit card, as Sheila's cash situation has been devestated by renting the cello. A worthy cause, but I wish I had used more caution in the rest of my spending. I'm working a six-and-a-half hour shift at The Boat tonight, and hopefully I can get Ivor to work with me as well.
Next weekend I'm going down South with Matt and Tom to visit Jess's house for her birthday. We're flying to Bristol, then taking a train to Bath, touring Bath, then taking a bridge to Trowbridge (nearest station to her village), then her parents are picking us up. We'll see Stonehenge, Avebury, maybe Salisbury, and some other places. It'll be really good to see proper English village life. Yes, I will be a complete tourist.
However, I have very little money, due to poor spending habits, and so I will be very broke this weekend. And the next weekend, but at least I'll have a bit more money in the bank. I'm also going to quit working at St. James's if I get the balls to return the uniform nd collect my deposit on the uniform, that'd be great. (Who'd have thought quitting your job would be the key to getting more money?)
I really want to find the Angel of the North statue. Let's see what I can do.
However: (poor spending or not, my credit card is fine, and my few mp3s on the computer will be legal soon, as the Arctic Monkeys and Jenny Lewis's albums are out this morning!)
