And I cannot get over the number of AP parents that circumcise. Formula is bad, but cosmetic surgery on infants is GOOD?

It's hard for me to understand, I didn't agree with my religion, and found one that suited my beliefs better. If someone thinks their religion is wrong for doing something, maybe it's time to start doing some serious soul-searching...I'm suprised people don't do that. Ah well.

When I was young I didn't think you could question religion. There were things you did, you didn't know why, but you had to do them.

Thankfully, the teenage years let me question whatever I wanted.

And more thankfully we never even thought of circumsizing our son. I started crying the other day when he started vomiting and crying himself. too much empathy, there is no way I could handle hurting him on purpose.

There's an alternative ceremony if you're Jewish, it involves a finger prick...however most people just don't know about it.

I didn't know that. But I think I've only ever met one Jewish person.

I don't think tradtionallly my band does anything to babies, I should find out.
