PSDC <3
You ever notice how I'm cursed in the debate world? I never could break in debate and public speaking at the same time. Actually, I've never broken in PSCD/IISDC/whatever. Also, I always fuck up the last round of the day. Aaaand I never had a debate boylet.
Well, you know what? The curse is broken.
We broke 11th and got all the way to semis!
This is so surreal. Hasnt really sunk in, actually, but I'm giddy nonetheless.
This is so cool.

Unforgettable PSDC moments:
- playing PANTS in Starbucks (enthusiastic dog, happy turtle and rich man's house are...lol.)
- Gimme More is the new anthem of the MC debate team
- "Ladies and gentlemen, in African countries like Utopia and Congo..." (Jas: Huh? diba Ethiopia?)
- "I didnt understand his point. Hahaha *snort*"
- "You are fueling the fire, not watering it! You have to water the fire or else it will grow big until China will go BOOM! *with matching hand gestures*"

And now for a graceless stream of inside jokes and shout-outs slightly reminiscent of an MMFF acceptance speech:
Thanks to Chaz, Cara, Erica and Lisane for the support/screaming power.
Thanks to the MC contingent for being such lovely girls, as always. The golden age is so not over. I love you guys. Congrats to Val and Pia for making it to Finals and for being in the top 10 best speakers.
Thanks to Ateneo for allowing me to hang out with them in the mornings when I'm being an emo loner. Hansky gets a special mention for giving me my palanca ahead of most people.
Thanks to Cborr, Bas and Hansky for allowing me to....um, yeah. Nevermind. :))
Thanks to Cborr for the band-aids. (long story; all you need to know is that I hate ballet flats from here on out)
Thanks to Miss Casty and Miss Santos for patiently sitting through speeches about sex in Latin America.
Thanks to Patis, who is the best partner anyone could ask for. We've had our ups and downs, but we finally got what we wanted! Semis- not bad at all for our first time to break in PSDC, eh? Tapos nag-top 10 ka pa! Thank you for everything- magWorlds ka, ok?

and yes, I do realize that this means I will graduate without winning anything in PSDC ever. But sometimes, you don't need everything to be happy. :)
PS: Actually, I still don't have a debate boylet. But that's okay- have you SEEN si...si..si kwan? You know, si ano? HAY BASTA. Nibermayn.
