I've officially found a game that terrifies me:
Silent Hill 2.
Yes, it has Pyramid Head in it but I still can help the jumping and yelping whenever one of those creepy ass nurses come twitching MJ style down the hallways in the dark hospital. I've already seen all of the endings on Youtube (because I never thought I'd get the guts to play the games...) but when I saw SH2 for sale, used, for $9.99, I had to indulge. I'm glad I did, don't get me wrong...but still. I'm pleasantly surprised by how freaked out I get when I play this game alone, in the dark.
Anyway, it's been rumored that my grandmother will be coming home tomorrow. =] And while that excites me, and I know she's probably excited, I haven't heard if they figured out what's wrong with her. So I can't exactly put all of my money on the idea that she's 'better'. The doctors said the blockages in her heart weren't as severe as they initally thought--triple bypass isn't necessary now--but they still haven't been able to pinpoint the cause of her accelerated heart rate and difficulty breathing when she lies down. And her kidneys are shot, now, from all of the chemicals and dyes they had to inject her with.
All I can do is hope for the best. But having her home is definitely going to raise the spirits of my family.
