ok, so this is how the ut library works...
i had a book checked out that i honestly thought i turned in rite... well it turns out the computer doesnt think so... so when i get home after being gone for 2 months... i get a letter in the mail from the ut library that i owe a 115 dollar fine for 1 fucking book. how the hell could it be that much rite? well, there was the actual late fees, then there was a lost fee, then there was a fee b/c they had to claim in lost... yes, there was a fee for a fee... wtf rite?
so anywho, i call to tell them i think it's a mistake, they said they would check and email me within a few days... never did, so i called again, talked to another lady, she went to look for it and said it wasnt there... but as another option instead of paying the late fees, i could declare it lost and pay a 25 dollar fee.... so lets think... 115 or 25... i told her just to declare it lost....
so i just doodle around my room.. and what do i find? the damn book... and i was told that if i pay the 25 dollar fee for claiming it lost, and then turn it in again, i would be reimbursed... so all i have to do is turn in the damn book when i get to austin... and i will get off scott free. isnt that funny? damn ut library... i didnt even know i could get around it, but apparently i did...
and i dont think ima go to the library often anymore. stupid books are all just dumb...
