01: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K.Rowling (begun 2010, completed January 5 2011)
I reread the book when I got home from the movie of part 1. Overall I think the movie is a good adaptation of the first half (which I've seen described as Harry and Hermione's boring tent adventure). But I wonder about some of the story lines, such as Dumbledore's family history - have they been cut entirely or are they going to be in part 2? Reading stalled due to other books and commitments, but I wanted to finish it so I could reshelve it.
02: Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett (begun 2010, completed January 6 2011)
Bought at Auckland International Airport as a travel book on a week's break in Sydney late last year. Thoroughly enjoyed it so much that I kept beginning other books so I could keep some of it for Xmas and New Year.
