sadr city
i am beginning to think the constant use of the term "sadr city" to denote the large area of baghdad not under american control is an effort to dissociate the two in the minds of the american public. americans are stupid (most of us anyway), and i am completely convinced that fewer than 25% of the u.s. population would correctly state that sadr city is part of the iraqi capital.
perhaps i'm not the first to notice this... but at any rate... it's starting to piss me off (like so many other aspects of the war and these past 8 yrs).
