Day 14 - A hero that has let you down. (letter)
I don't know that I ever believed in heros (or heroines). I know that I used to think I should trust (believe in) people in higher professions. I was 20 when I discovered that just because someone is supposed to be an expert (on something) does not mean that they are, or that I should trust them over my own beliefs. Drill Sergeants are not infallible. Doctors do not know everything. I later added Lawyers to my list.
