More people should go and play in the Fall Fandom Free-For-All! You make a bunch of requests for fic/art/vids, you fill other people's, it's all a lot of fun. I'm already writing something COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS for it, and once that's done I'll try and tackle some other requests. :D ( Read more... )

omg, I never knew you were a Supernatural fan as well. It's probably a ridiculous reason to be excited, but I totally am.

Sadly, I haven't been a big part of SN fandom on LJ lately, I usually only follow the board discussions over at TWOP, and they are so full of love for Dean and Castiel (whereas I never really liked it when they focused too much on him or the other creatures from heaven) that it almost makes me sad, because I've loved Sammy since S1, and I still do. Jared Padalecki often doesn't get the credit he deserves, but maybe that's different on LJ.

But yeah, I especially enjoyed the second episode, loved seeing some of the old hunters a back in action. And let's face it, Ellen and Jo are pretty much the only strong non-demonic female characters we have, so I'm appreciating their appearance more than ever.

I am! Not a huge fan, but my BFF lazy_daze is massively into the fandom and is a total Samgirl, which I'm sure has rubbed off on me.

I don't really understand all the people who are such big fans of Dean and Castiel's relationship and NOT Sam and Dean's, because the central thing has always been the brothers, and that's the draw for me.

And, yeah, given the show's track record on such issues it was awesome to have an episode that featured TWO female characters, AND a black guy, and none of them died! More of that plz, Kripke.
