it seems like everyone is sick, including me. but thanks to cool new jobs, i can work from home. i kinda quit TLC. well, i just work there on tuesdays for about three hours. i can never seem to shake that place. i guess when you give five years of your life to something it's always hard to leave, no matter how much you hate it, kind of like a relationship.

Good Morning America is on right now and Matt Lauer is interviewing a girl from The Apprentice. he keeps asking questions such as, "do you think your views have been swayed by others?" and, "are you confident in your decision-making?" i just keep thinking that matt laur doesn't understand that he's interviewing a girl from a REALITY SHOW. this isn't the president. shouldn't he be asking her when she's going to do a photo shoot for maxim, or what soap opera on which she plans to make a "special guest appearance?" reporters freak me out. they make everything so serious.

i'm not sure if i mentioned in my last post that i saw m83 last weekend. sometimes a band is just so damn happy that it makes whatever they do seem great. i guess their french-ness had something to do with that, since they can't really say much that the crowd could understand, so they just smiled a lot and gave a lot of thumbs up. i think "dead cities..." is my favorite album of 2004.

if you haven't heard the new bjork, you really need to. you might hate it, but i think it's something everyone needs to hear. it's basically all vocal sounds, with no instruments. leave it to bjork. anyway, it's growing on me. it's VERY hard to get into.

and now, back to work.
