for some reason the professor who was supposed to teach my poetry class this semester is no longer teaching it. my schedule said "tba" until today. i looked up the new professor on ratemyprofessors.com (even though i know that site isn't completely reflective of how good the teacher is) and he seemed to get pretty good ratings, but it says that he teaches his students to never use semicolons. i love semicolons! this is very disturbing. and yes, i'm serious. i don't care what you say, the semicolon is a glorious thing! i hope the rumors aren't true.
