Time it is for a moderate update. I apologize for the desert my lj has turned into the last month or so. Life is going a lot better. I have had a lot of help from family in getting my license back, or, getting on the process of getting it back. I still have no license but should have it next week if things work out well this week with the California courts. I have begun attending a small group meeting through my church and it's terrific getting some social interaction with people my age! There are about 8 people that are going to be going and they're all from about 20-16ish. One is a single mom with two kids who is doing surprisingly well. Two are sisters from Fresno who moved recently to the area for family reasons. One is a quasi-local (from Seattle circa 10 years ago) chick, Rachel (sp?) who is seriously beautiful. She's going to Evangel and is almost done with her degree. She wants to be an elementary school teacher. There's another girl who I think is also local. Her parents are missionaries in Germany. One guy is a Jewish, ex-army assistant chaplain (quite vocal and doesn't curb his tongue on inputing his opinion). The leader's name is Josh; he's an ex-bartender, and we meet at his house. He's been a great host so far. I think that's it. And then there's me. I observe and throw in a few words here and there. I feel like a sore thumb.
Work is going pretty much the same.
I haven't run since the marathon which needs to be fixed.
