(no subject)
It was kinda neat while filming the wedding this past Saturday; I recognized a face, thought it through, and it was the father of a bride that I did an edit for at the end of last year. I told Dave, and we talked to them for a few minutes at the reception. They had actually recommended us for that wedding. Really cool to say hi, and I think they were surprised that we'd noticed them. (The father was quite distinctive; "You recognized us?" they said, and in reply I gave the opening sentence of the father's toast.)
Another wedding tomorrow, wrapping up three wedding weekends in a row that I helped assist on. After this we don't have any booked for almost a month so it'll be a good chance to edit the backlog that's built up a bit.
I saw a postcard for a wedding show next week; I thought about it, realized I don't really have anything we need to go shopping for at a show at this time. The florist is the only vendor we don't have. Then I looked at the date again; I'm pretty sure that Modern Mix is shooting something for a corporate client there, the same client I've been doing some shoots for for the past month.
In non work-related news... well, not much. Had a D&D session with Web for the first time in a while, and we've got one coming up with Detlef and the gang for the first time in an even longer while on Sunday. Oh crap, I wonder if I've leveled my character...
