Dream Journal: Key Pixel's Next Project

Mar 29, 2012 11:30

So, Tuesday night Key Pixel had a nice long teleconference concerning our next big project. We're really excited for it, as it'll be our next project up up our visual quality, taking in stride everything we've learned on previous projects and again going just one step further.

Last night's dream used that as a launching point. I was thinking about how Justin still has work to do on the website, and suddenly I'm in an underground lair kind of thing with various minecart tracks leading off into tunnels, like Minecraft but without the blockiness. The only completed track is Abstract Messiah's, but riding it down all that's there is an underground field of some sort with a couple of trees and a bit of information. I come back, and then it's an abandoned mall that somehow Key Pixel bought. A Regal cinemas is still standing with its signage but the rest is all cleared out. I look into the theater, thinking about how we might be able to use it for a shot we discussed in the project, when I turn around and there's Ken (plus beard), one of our actors from Abstract Messiah who has pretty much been the face of our fan club since that spot was vacated by Vapes. I then see that the hallway outside is packed, and we give a presentation on our next project to see who's interested in helping out (without actually telling them the three keywords that describe our project, huh).

End of dream. You know, an abandoned mall would be a pretty sweet studio. And if the theater is still standing, even better, we can host our own premiere events.
