I came into work this morning to see the retro games in this display case labeled "CLASSIC PLASTIC". Awesome :P
There's a carnival setting up outside the mall; they were just starting as I left yesterday and most of the stuff has been set up now that I'm here today. They're supposed to open up today, but with thunderstorms last night and forecast later today, who knows when it'll actually start running. That ferris wheel looks mighty tasty to a stray electrical charge.
Turns out that Nerf guns, fully functional, would be illegal at Otakon because they can fire projectiles. After a Google search on the topic, I contacted someone in Special Operations, and as long as I disable every moving part then it should be fine. I figure, as long as I'm getting another one specifically for this, I'll also paint it up; a white and black color scheme could look pretty cool, I'll have to do some treatments.
