i'm really excited.
i sat in the Student Center yesterday from 4-7, writing 9 new pages which added a Part 5 to my Gallery story. i made an outline of the entire story, and decided to have a new formula for the final presentation of it.
instead of going 1,memory, 2, memory, 4, memory, 3 memory, 5, memory and so on--i will actually do it like this
breakup (opening pages, Part 6)--part 5, part 4, part 3, part 2, part 1
further and further into the story you get closer and closer to the beginning of the relationship until you realize where small things that occurred in part 5 have meaning because of part 2, and you realie why certain things appear in part 4 b/c they actually were given as gifts in part 1...i think that's how it's gonna work.
i'm up to 39 pages right now in Michaels story line. that's 5 parts. i've still got alot more to write for him.
AND THEN
i've got to start writing Adrianne's story line that intertwines into Michaels story line. for instance,
IN Michael's Plot Line===Michael persuades Jane to call Adrianne, and listens as the two talk about where a recorder is in the house. Michael's friend Jon laughs, and Adrianne wonders who it is.
IN Adrianne's Plot Line===Adrianne gets the call from Jane, tells her about the tape recorder but asks who laughed in the background, while also mentioning something that Jane talks about in front of Michael but won't fill him in on.
get it? both sides of the story--you could read either one and still get a full story.
why am i so damn excited about this?
hopefully, i'll have enough time before i have to hand the final project in to get it Binded professionally by Kinkos or something and able to give at least one copy to the professors and one for myself. i'd be really happy if they asked to keep it as an example...that's what i'm shooting for...
i've also decided to add not only photographs, poems, pictures, but also Notes and emails between Adrianne and Michael...
