New Orleans again, or still...
Yeah, the rest of the world has gone on, but I'm going back to N.O. with the college group. Have no idea what we'll be doing - I thinking gutting is pretty much done (though some of the young guys really want to try their hands at it), and the people whose houses have been gutted don't have money for materials to rebuild, even with free labor. Thank you, Big American Insurance Companies. ("You didn't have hurricane damage - that was flood damage. Sorry, different policy.") We've been promised work, and I suppose that's enough.
Remind me again why the National Guard wasn't doing much to help. Oh yeah, they were over in Iraq. Too bad for the Americans.
2 days to get everything here ready before the trip. Yegads.
