Interesting family
Went to a DG family gathering yesterday, celebrating the niece graduating HS. It was interesting. His family almost makes mine look functional. Mother was not speaking to Older Brother due to some slight he inflicted while drunk, and no longer remembers. OB and Younger Brother are not talking to Mother, for indeterminate reasons. YB is not speaking to me, because at Christmas I called him rude. YB is considering not speaking to DG, since he drove both me and Mother to the gathering. Mother's Sister is not speaking to Mother. OB's wife showed up drunk, although not falling down. Sister is speaking to everyone, and snarking about all of them behind their backs. There was a lot of shuffling between the backyard tent, the deck, and the house, so that antagonistic factions would not encounter each other. I guess that's why people have big houses and yards in Bloomington.
