An update

It's been made apparent to me that I haven't posted an update for some time so I'll do so right now as I sit here at work.

I guess the biggest thing to mention is that I will not be sitting here at work again after tomorrow.... ever. I've been approached by my past employer to return to the "old firm" and with an offer I could not easily refuse I said yes. I was a worried to say yes at first, as it will be a return to a place I voluntarily left back in April and the medium of the job will be the same at it was back then. However the message or rather the subject matter of the job will be different than it was and I'm looking forward to getting started in January. I will be saying good by to few things I like about my current job but there will be much to happy about in the new job. Not the least of which is that I will be working with LJ again, well not with but her but in the same building. I'll also be leaving my current employer in a tight predicament, as I am currently the only banker here fully capable of providing Mutual Funds to our many many clients. I think she will learn some good lessons from this!

The past few weeks have been pretty busy. Christmas One took place at Lj's Brother Bob's place. The highlight of that day being the game "Gestures" which gave us the chance to display our fine acting abilities and to highlight the "competitive spirit" of some of the participants. I think I did pretty well if I might say so but please can someone tell me how you can perform gestures that would make some guess the answer: "Bigamist". A week back L and I went to Mtc's
a Christmas carol and it was well done. I was pleased to see that MTC was able to well represent itself on one my all time favourite stories. Nothing beats Alastair Sim's 1953 A Christmas Carol mind you.

It will be busy still with Christmas Two to follow at my parents and at Laurie’s brother Bryan’s and other functions that need to be attended to. Of course there is New Years Eve to sort out...
