i have a tendancy to get bored if i ride somewhere too often. what are your favorite open roads to ride on?
i like rte 133 from gloucester through essex to ipswich...but failing that, i havent found much that isnt riddled with construction this time of year, and idiot drivers. rt127 is nice when it isnt being torn up on a weekly basis. when i lived in billerica, i enjoyed rte 4 from lexington down through chelmsford and beyond.
i'm on the north shore and i'd like some ideas.

edit: it's worth noting that i'm horribly out of shape and am only looking to do about 10 miles or so. i'm willing to drive to a destination and then head out, but i'd prefer to avoid it if possible. i'm hoping that it wont be long before i'm looking at another 5-10 miles for a single trip, but i'm not quite there yet.
