Buon pomerriggio! Good Afternoon
I had my first Italian class today. It meets twice a week for an hour and a half. I'm excited. I wonder how long it would take for me to be fluent in Italian? Four/Five years (I can't remember) of French and I could still barely understand the language, nor do I remember much of it. (I'M SORRY MADAME!!!)
I'm really excited about going to Italy. I keep looking up about all these places to visit and things I want to see. Plus, it's already starting to get cold here, and to be quite frank, I don't know if I can survive a winter here again. Blistering negative temperatures that people shouldn't even be out in freezing my face and every part of me as I suffer and struggle on my way to classes...that's what I want to avoid.
My room is finally clean, I cleaned it on Monday, and basically haven't been around since, so it hasn't had the opportunity to get messy again. Yay! I got to spend some quality time with Dan last night which was nice, we got to catch up about different things, and it was nice just to get some down time with him. I'm happy that he's finally feeling better.
Lesia and I were supposed to go to a movie tonight...but eww, the cold, the rain...my bed is so much more appealing.
Girls night is tomorrow night, which I'm excited for, I just need to pick up some wine and cheese if I get a chance and we can all get nice and toasty. It will be different this weekend without Lesia and Alley around. Part of me was debating going home, I could go to Lesia's 21st with her family and such. But maybe I'll just stay and party around here for the weekend.
I'm still trying to convince Dan to go up to Vermont for the weekend, but I think he's just overwhelmed with his work. So we'll see. Aside from that, maybe I'll just spend some quality time with the boys. Or just finish all the crap that I've been putting off, a weekend in could do me well. Who knows. Yay for lack of plans.
