Seriously, a "Let's go Yankees" chant at the All-Star game? WOW, new levels of horrible fan-ness all around. Oh and three-quarters of the stadium empty by the end of the most epic All-Star Game of all time. Way to represent before they blow that shithole up.

Also hilarious that Papelbon was getting shit at NYYFans, yet Mariano had a worse outing than him. If Dioner Navarro isn't such a dumbfuckDevilRay, Papelbon gets out unscatched. Still, no one will talk about either pitcher with the way the game finished.
I was pulling for a tie in the hopes that we could FINALLY decide home-field advantage on something pertinent like ... oh I don't know ... win-loss record? But the AL dominates again. The NL hasn't won since Hanley Ramirez was 12 years old. Oh and LOL at Dan Ugglas' -.600esque WPA. You have to try REALLY hard to have a WPA that poor.
All in all, solid night. Too bad we'll have to win the World Series on the road again. And it's entertaining to say the least that the Yankees will be watching from home. Again. I really thought they'd find a way to give a Yankee the MVP. I'm glad OBP was recognized tonight.
