Gidgets and Bits and Bits and Bits

Been a while since I've put anything down here. The Southwest is just amazing. Cactus and sand. Lots of both, more sand as one might assume.

Randomness:

The smell of dog shit makes me gag, which is unfortunate since I have to pick it up 3 times a day minimum.

My work at home is busy and yet fun. Too good to be true? I hope not. I really like this.

I drove all around Tucson yesterday morning, it reminded me of Montreal in the sense that all the buildings look alike to me. One corner may as well be the next.

People here are really nice. Everyone says hi and talks - especially if I'm toting along the puppy. Even the "brash looking" construction guys around the complex here are nice. What is said behind my back may be another story.

40 units were just rented to National Guardsmen - something tells me the cute factor around here is going to spike around Jan 20th, and no I didn't have to consult Ms. Cleo for that little tid bit. The noise may go up too, but that shall be offset by more hours at the pool.

I have all the windows and sliding door open now with a cool Jan breeze coming in listening to Erasure's newest. I love Andy Bell, but not "that" much.

Patch left for work an hour ago. His new two toned scrubs look cute. I wonder if he applies cologne to go to work at a hospital cuz of all the random broom closet encounters.

I'm 40 and I still have most of my hair and don't need viagra.

My twin is entering a study in Boston for people with our kidney disease, PKD. The theory is that lower blood pressure stops the growth of cysts. I hope the experimental drug doesn't make him sick.

The dog will not leave me alone. I feel very responsible for spoiling her, and yet, I don't really give a crap.

The men in Montreal are much prettier than they are here. Off to CA next I guess. He he.

Canadian politics is starting to make me almost as sick as American politics makes me, and that is pretty sick.

I wonder how many more 20 year olds have to die for George W - wish his kids went to Iraq. I think they should have kept Saddam alive - his death was too noble.

I changed the furniture around here tonight - I really love this place they put us up at.

My mom is coming in two days for a week long visit. I can't wait to see her and Patch play cards.
