Back at school

Well, the mocks were not mock exams at all. They were assessing our abilities. I suppose it is necessary, but I would still like to know how I did on them.

It is really quite amusing the way in which the people around our school endeavour to hide. I do not know why they really bother, to be quite honest. I mean, everyone knows that they are here. Why do they not just walk around normally instead of making themselves even more conspicuous in their attempt at inconspicuousness?

Work is keeping me busy as always. I have two three foot long essays to be handed in on monday. I have almost completed one of them, but I think I shall have to take a trip to the library to make sure I have the date of the first human transfiguration correct.

It seems that knitting is not one of my natural talents. I think I shall have to persevere with this in order to become better. Hopefully I will.

On another note, Ron, I think we should talk sometime?

And I am beginning to doubt if friendship is really possible between the Gryffindors and Slytherins. The latter seem to delight in twisting words and generally being obnoxious.
