The Bitch Hangs On
The acute mono symptoms, as mentioned a few posts back, have faded, but the fatigue remains. Today I took off from work as a sick day, I was so tired. Napped during the day and now I can't sleep. Bleah.
Guess I'll try finishing up a short story that's been limping along for over a week now. When, oh when, will I learn to finish the first draft of a short story within a day or two of beginning to write it? On the other hand, having spent many days thinking about the story, I know that the motivation I originally conceived for the protagonist was quite wrong and would have necessitated at least one more scene than the story could hold and still maintain its dark/weird mood.
