more shameless bragging about my kid
andy and rosemary took the boys to the smithsonian on the metro the other day.
Ant, aged 5 1/2, is obsessed with the metro. he watches metro videos on You tube a lot and loves taking the metro more than anything in the world.
While waiting for the blue/orange line train at L'enfant Plaza to go to smithsonian, a woman with kids approached Andy and asked him if this was the right line for the Pentagon.
Ant piped up "No, you want the yellow line. Go up the escalator, cross the bridge and take the yellow line to Pentagon."
The woman looked at andy, confused. Andy replied "actually, he is right. If you take this line, it will be 9 stops, If you take the yellow line, you only have to take it one stop. It will be a lot faster."
Ant then said to her, " go on! you'll miss your train. Go now!"
He has an astonishing memory, especially for road names and directions.
