Dollhouse 2x11 "Getting Closer" Review

My reaction to 2x11 of Dollhouse:

HOLY FUCKING DOMINOS!!!

I can't exactly be intelligent right now because I can't enjoy the eps with my mom talking my ear off and asking questions and then getting up to get chips and then coming back right as something important is happening...but OMG!!

Way to bring several different elements together!

First, kidnapping of Bennett and Topher cuteness from the moment he hears that they have her! So adorable, so cute.

Second, MY THEORY WAS RIGHT! The connection between Ballard and Echo has been severed, or at least Topher thinks it has.

Third, Bennett/Caroline flashbacks, so awesome. Good insight as to why Bennett hates Caroline...though I am not sure why since she told Bennett to run. Maybe she knew what they were doing and wanted to be a doll and she had a feeling that was what Caroline was headed to. She did say that she wanted to be less like herself.

Next, Dr. Saunders is back! Yay! Though with a sinister agenda! :)

SQUEE!! DOMINIC!!! Of course something of a vegetable, but maybe putting him back in the attic did help and that may explain the Epitaph One scene where he said "After what you did with my body." Though complete moment for the D/D shippers of the bunch...

Dominic: I'd rather die.
Adelle: I'd rather you didn't

Should bring on at least a couple shipper-y fics.

Flashback Adelle with hair extensions is love. And I love her line: "You forced me to come to Arizona. I loathe Arizona!"

Bennett/Topher kiss, so adorable and awkward.

And the clincher to the entire ep!

CLYDE 2.0 is an unknown guy. However CLYDE'S PARTNER!! Is BOYD!!! AS IN BOYD LANGTON! And it looks like he's been working with Claire, not just romancing. (Or perhaps she is now Clyde...its not really clear she just walks away after shooting Bennett in the head.) It's pretty clear the Caroline plays some larger role in all this. Why was she different that the head of a corporation would come down from high and become her handler?

I guess Adelle must not have known that he was the head of Rossum when she hired him in The Target. Which means Boyd must not be his real name. Afterall Clyde did say that his name was one of the first things they erased.

On a non-spoilery note it looks like things are starting to come to pass from Epitaph One. Claire and Boyd's scene came along and I am sure some of the other memories will come to pass in next week's ep.

As it is I have to watch this one again. I can't enjoy a good conspiracy story with my mom. She doesn't WATCH the TV, it might as well be radio.

God this show needs another season or something. No way they're going to be able to answer everything in one episode plus a ten year jump.
