knitting deliciousness
I promise that I would post pics of my current works in progress in terms of knitting. So here you go. Take a look at the fun I've been having during my hiatus:
This is a commission that someone asked me to make with yarn they provided.
This is the sweater I should have finished last month for my mother. I promise it does not look as yellow as my camera made it look. I'll get a natural light picture when it is all done.
And last but not least, the socks that I have about an inch done of. Maybe two given what I did yesterday:
This weekend I am hoping to go shopping for size five double pointed needles, yarn for my friend's birthday gift, baby blanket yarn, and eight buttons. Or maybe I'll just order them from JoAnn.com, since the project doesn't require very expensive yarn.
And a piece of good news. My ipod decided to revive itself last night when I attempted to transfer the songs from it back to my newly restored computer. I only lost a couple of recent purchases so no big deal really, but this means no iphone...but I could possibly get a new cell phone out of this deal still...cos I've needed that upgrade for a while.
