This is a tough one. For one, neither are actually old enough to be college STUDENTS. XD; I'd have to go with Mint on this one- she's smart, well-spoken, and calm, and could probably do a good job of teaching (being able to read minds would ensure that no one would DARE fall asleep or space out, for fear of being sassed to death); the downside is, she could get easily distracted if her students ever figure out how to push her buttons (mmm candy). Red is also intelligent, well-spoken, and calm, but he's pretty darn young, and will probably be insecure as a result.
2) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?
... the Dungeon Keeper is a giant disembodied hand of pure evil. His game is also made of the finest distilled awesome.
I would have to say, "very hot indeed."
3) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Strength sends the Black Wizard out to find where her hulking, not-very-smart father is at. He'd find Father Strength, but there wouldn't be much of Magical Land left at the end. Partial succeess.
4) What is, or would be, 9's favorite book?
Sato's favorite book? Probably his very first dirty magazine. Next!
5) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
The Dungeon Keeper and Mint Blancmanche? NEITHER way would make a whole lot of sense, unless copious amounts of alcohol were involved.
6) For some reason, 5 is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio aparment with 9 or 10?
Boush, looking for a room-mate in either Sato or Life? The goblin tinker should go with Life; Sato's pokemon would destroy the room with their usual chaos, and while Life IS messy, at least he won't come home very much. More room for Boush's inventions!
7) 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
An all-you-can-eat buffet for Dungeon Keeper (probably while possessing a Bile Demon's body), Guu, and Strength... oh dear. Guu would eat the both of them, and/or disturb them greatly just by being herself.
8) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Life would probably misinterpret Hyatt's blood-horfing to a duel challenge, and it would end in a double KO: Life might bite Hyatt to 'death', and then pass away after trying to eat the anemic woman's death-filled meat.
9) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would they get it back?
In the unlikely event that the Lemming Foreman steals ANYTHING from Black Wizard and doesn't give it back after the first warning... well, at least BW won't run out of Lemmings to torch.
10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
Guu and Strength, huh? I don't think there's very much that Guu desires, so it would probably end up being something like "Don't Eat Other Peoples' Fathers!"
11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?

Red XIII's probably a fairly popular character elsewhere; I don't think anyone I know is as crazy about him as I am about, say, Cait Sith, though.

The Dungeon Keeper and The Viruses/Boush? That'd be a tough one; the DK could probably find a good use of both. It'd just come down to which he thinks the dungeon needs more: tools for biological warfare or vast amounts of goblin explosives. Failing that, he'd go for whichever side is the more evil of the lot, which would be neither.
16) What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
Nothing, he'd just go for the jugular. Only really stupid predators give their position away to their prey, after all.
17) If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?

The Lemming Foreman, Boush, and Strength? I could see ALL possibilities happening. If Boush and Strength fight amongst themselves, the Foreman could probably get his crew to sneak it away from under their noses; if Boush gets the first hit in, there'd be rockets flying everywhere and there'd be no ANYTHING left; if Strength gets the first hit in, she'd probably just throw her competitors out the window.
19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
"Say, mermaid, how would you like to become my minion? I can offer you all sorts of perks- wait, what do you MEAN you're not actually female ARGH STOP BITING MY HAND ARGH ARGH".
20) What would 5 most likely be arrested for?
Illegal possession of enough rockets, lasers, and exploding wind-up robots to level a small town. That, or for accidentally selling eye-laser-packing penguin toys to unsuspecting children.

Mint loves to wear giant plushie costumes. It's not a very well-kept secret.
