Seen during invigilation: one student rolling a pair of dice in his hand - for the multiple choice questions, of course. Such delightful behaviour. Will wonders never cease.
The CHINA born chinese teachers are duly impressed by my spoken Mandarin. In fact, I have become something of a curiousity ever since I had to make several announcements. They peer from behind their glasses and coo about my intonation, which apparently, is perfect. Silence, detractors!
