I had a surprise wating on me this morning. I did the usual feeding of the cows and ponies before feeding the lower pasture, and the horses were nickering for feed as usual, then this bright bay foal trotted up and nickered too because her mom was doing it.
I finished putting feed out and the fola got to suckle since her mother was holding still for feed.
Margo has foaled several weeks earlier than I expected considering when she had been bred, sometime late Sept, early Oct...
We'll think of a name sometime this week and suggestions are welcome
